How long have you been in business?
We purchased the Carriage House Resort in January of 2003. It was built in 1967 and since then it has provided the guests a very personal and friendly service always with the highest standards in cleanliness in mind.
What is your primary product or service?
We have standard hotel rooms, efficiencies and one-bedroom apartments for stays from one night to several weeks or months. The standard rooms have a small refrigerators and the efficiencies and one-bedroom apartments have fully equipped kitchens. Housekeeping is provided every day except Sundays and Holidays.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After a long career in the corporate world which required extensive international travel and intense negotiations, contracts, and endless meetings I wanted to change the direction of my activities to where I could enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a beach setting while offering a service to travelers that would help them to feel like they were visiting friends so they could enjoy everything that South Florida has to offer.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer a very personal and friendly service where the guests can feel relaxed in a setting that is very beautiful and clean. It is a place that is conducive to meeting other guests and making friends. Most of our guests return year after year and they tell their friends and the word spreads. We feel as if the guests are members of our extended family.

We are located on A1A two blocks of Hillsboro Blvd in Deerfield Beach. If travelling on I-95 take the Hillsboro Blvd exit (42) and drive East 2.5 miles. After going over the Intracoastal bridge turn South (right) on A1A. Go two blocks and find the Carriage House Resort on the East (left) side.
What type of payments do you accept?
Payment must be made in full upon arrival. We accept all major credit cards, travelers checks and cash.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM every day of the year. A night manager lives on the premises.
